We all know that magazines and articles of this nature are intended to be a bit out there and that they represent what some of us wish we could expect to wear/do each day. Let's be fair. If glam isn't your thing than just click through the article to something you do respect or enjoy. However, I have to admit that if I had 700 bucks to spend on a trench coat I HOPE that I would be able to find something much more valuable to spend it on, like..I don't know...people in need? Although I bought a $2300 laptop this year so who am I to judge? Cheers everyone.

How is a thirty-dollar shirt "not breaking my budget"? Or a $120 jacket? If you're on a budget you shouldn't be buying clothing at all (because presumably you already own clothing, unless you are shopping completely naked). Save your money for things you actually need -- i.e., food, bills, rent, gas. And if you REALLY need clothes, go to a thrift store. You can get almost anything for under ten dollars.

I'd like to see an article about cheap style that really does offer advice on how to buy inexpensively, but I have never, ever seen this.

i find it incongruous that the model is looking as if he does not care about his appearance and it probably took a fleet of people to achieve this effect.  further, for the "basics", as he is wearing in the photo, how much money will one have to shell out to look as if one does not care about how one looks?  honestly, i can look schlumpy on a budget.  i do not need designer labels on distressed fabrics to look that way.   for just shy of 2,000 i can look like the guy in the photo?  not really.  i don't look like that and the 2,000 i would spend at rag and bone-if that chain deigned to have a shop nearby, could go to pay down my mortgage.  sorry, not buying.

it is not that i do not appreciate quality clothing-cut, fabric-these things are important.  you are marketing this look to men half my age, men who are wondering how they are going to feed families, pay bills, etc.  it would seem reaallly frivilous.

He's hot! You could dump him in a bucket of mud and he would still look THAT good!

Apparently there are alot of people on here that can't dress but have pointless opinions. Like what was the model supposed to do come out of the picture and dress you in person get a clue to you all who are hating and have no sense of fashion. It's nothing wrong with looking good and besides if you are questioning your sexuality off of something you are wearing chances are there's a problem anyway step ya game up haters.
