I agree with Evan.  Natural looks best.  I always do my toes in a fun red and my fingers in a soft  natural shiny shade.  The dark matte looks weird to me.  And I don't do my nails to appeal to any man or woman imparticular.  I like my nails in a nice neutral shade as that is what appeals to me.  I also work with my hands and it shows less that the color has chipped off when it is a natural color.

My nails used to be a little brittle and then I started eating fitflax  http://www.fitflax.com for weight loss and I noticed it made my nails stronger and my hair grow faster cause of the omega 6's and 9's.  Fitflax is a roasted flax and chia blend that is low carb & low cal. It tastes  great (kinda nutty) and does  not need to be ground.   I am now down over 20 pounds and my nails look great!

what evan is not taking into account is that everyone is different. he cannot know the point of view of EVERY man because he is only one man whose had his own unique and personal experiences that have lead him to like natural over colored nails. I think that most men don't give a hoot what women do with their nails as long as it makes them happy. Some men like fake blondes with breasts implants, too much makeup, fake tans, collagen lips, acrylic nails, and platform heals, others like women to be completely natural. I'm natural for the most part, but I like to wear high heels and wear a different color of nail polish each week. It's my choice, and if my significant other doesn't like it, that's their problem, not mine.

How to lose wrist, hand, finger and thumb fat fast?? Easy! By giving a lot of angry handy j's with a **** red nail polish on!! HA!

And Diamondcat is right, I paint my nails (toes only as I tend to pick at my finger nails if painted) for my pleasure, not for a man's.

Yo Evan, uh thanks for the "tip" but I put on nail polish for MYSELF not for approval from a man.  Thanks anyway - pig.

Evan, my husband totally disagrees with you!  the brighter red, the better for him!

A "bubbly" manicure is also the result of putting the polish on too thick.  Take your time and apply several thin coats, rather then one or two thick ones.  Allow to dry well between coats (which doesn't take that long when they are thin).
