To accentuate shorter layers, style them first and make their texture stand out. Take shorter, face-framing layers and coat in shine serum.
Blow-dry just these sections so they fall smoothly into play. Brush shine serum into the rest of your hair (put a dab on a vent brush) but let it air-dry.
Toss head upside down and spray with aerosol hairspray.
