There are basics for hair, like always condition and massage ur scalp, but in all seriousness it's a little different for everyone because certain ppl have certain hair types. The hair could be curly, wavy, course, straight, dry, oily and etc. Ppl won't always benefit from the home tips of singular people, they need to understand the basics for their hair type then get working for what works for them, especially when it comes to those with sensitive scalps. Even there it's hard for some of the black girls who have course and sensitive hair. How are they gonna work it too? I mean we all can't use chemicals and heat our hair till it all falls out to look like most of the hair styles here!

Come on I don't even see any natural curly hair, That's what people want to know how to handle it and styles that can be done with long real curls long hair styles and what to use on it. All the shots I saw were so plain jane I wouldn't ever want to look that way in my sleep. To the lady who says not to wash your hair is so wrong; take a picture of warm water and add a quarter size of shampoo in the water, wash, rinse with warm water, if you use cool or cold water your hair shaft closes and everything stays inside. After wash than use a conditioner that doesn't have wax in it, a lot of them do. Sadthat's why you do wash your hair 2 to 4 times a week or the build up on your hair will leave you with a grease ball from than on. After your all done with everything with warm water, rinse from head to toe with real cool water to close up all your pores and hair shaft will hold in the moistureOpen-mouthed. I would you please show some cute styles with long real curls hair styles not the 80s look.

Hey, I have curly hair too.  If your hair is damaged, you need to grow the damage out.  Regular trimming on ends to keep split ends to a minimum.  There is a great book out all about taking care of curly hair ("Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey).  If you really want to understand curly hair, go there because she too used to fight her curls and straighten her hair and now she embraces her curls and has some great tips.  For instance... and you may freak at this, but it really WORKS!  Don't use shampoo.  You really don't need it more than very occasionally.  You use conditioner and work it into your scalp to rinse away and oil, dirt, sebum and keep your hair clean.  Rinse well with cool water.  Then condition normally.  I brush my hair once, when out of the shower and then not again till I shower again.  To freshen hair on non wash days, I have a water spray that I add a touch of conditioner to.  My current fave conditioner is Herbal Essence Totally Twisted.  I also love their Totally Twisted curling mousse.  I know many say no store brands, but I love this product!  I get compliments on my hair all the time and people constantly tell me how nice I smell Smile
Good luck!

For all the people who are complaining about these girls being thin as sticks, you obviously didnt look threw all of the pictures. I saw some cute chubby cheeks in the bunch! But anyways, if these are the top hairstyles then I'm glade my hair doesnt look like any of it. There needs to be some out going colors! Hell, clown hair gives more **** then these hair styles. Pluse all the straight hair looks the same to me, most of it does. Its just pulled up in a different due....So give some shorter cuts, neon colors, and call it good :]

What is wrong with looking sexy?  Everyone enjoys feeling hot and desired, those that don't feel it,  just aren't.  Being a thin blonde with long hair I am sorry that we do exist and actually like what these cuts look like.  As far as those of you who are asking about short styles,   there are 27 for short hair and 56 for medium length hair.

Are you for real right now?? I mean really out of 149 photos there is not one cute hairstyle. Why not have some for Mom's. Older and younger mom's that are chic, professional and  have a sex life too Mom's. Why not short cuts or medium cuts. And what is with the frufra bows and hats. Real women with real jobs don't wear that junk. If they do that's great but let's be real most don't. Once again this is a classic media presentation of what an airbrushed, twiggy model, society accepted woman is!! WRONG we all have different sizes of noses, chins, shapes of our face and the closeness or width of our eyes. And we wonder why so many middle aged women are anorexic and their daughters or even sons follow in their footsteps.  All we see is the perfection of digital enhancement and believe that should be us. If only I looked like this or that or weighed this or that... I would be LOVED. Wrong there is one who loves us unconditionally and that is Our Maker! No matter who that may be. Remember that the next time you look in the mirror. YOU ARE Beautiful, Strong and Loved.
