I saw the Acai Berry Diet and Colon Cleanse on a display at Whole Foods. I always had a lot of respect for Whole Foods, so I found it encouraging when I saw a diet that they were promoting in their store.
I really wanted to buy both products, but I was unsure if they would work for me and after having wasted a lot of money on so many different diets and weight loss products, I really didn't want to spend the money without having the opportunity to try it first and see if it really works. Then I came across free trial programs for the Acai Berry Diet and Colon Cleanse.
It was very easy to order and free to try! I have to say it has worked great for me, I lost nearly all the weight I gained after having children and I have tons of energy. I wrote a blog about my weight loss story along with links to the free trials I used. You can check it out here: Lose Weight With Acai Berry Diet -- Click Here
Best of luck to everyone!
It is much easier to wear most clothing when you are built like a 12 year old boy. I just wish there were more clothing options for those of us real women with curves.
I used to eat way to many calories and now am far more aware of calories and go walking for at least 20 minutes every day. WALKING is the best exercise and overall toner! It does not require a gym membership, a trainer or any equipment. I wear smartsole exercise insoles http://www.smartsole.com . They are anti cellulite insoles that help you tone muscles, increase circulation and cause you to burn more calories with every step. So you are getting a work out and toning your legs and butt even when just running errands.
I agree that the article should have shown clothing that was bigger than a size 4. It is much harder to dress when you are heavier. I love jeans, but when I was heavier I could only wear the easy fit Old Navy which though inexpensive were not the most stylish. I think the key to looking your best in jeans is to not care what the label says as far as the size...who cares what the size says...wear what fits. If your pants are way too tight, you just look heavier...and if they are too loose, you look sloppy!
I find that everything looks better when you are more toned. I am not a small girl, but working on being toned. I lost the weight by eating a healthy high fiber natural diet (lots of grilled chicken and veggies) and walking for at least 20 minutes every day. In general I avoid diet foods, diet soda and processed food and keep it simple and walk every day. I find if I am full I am less likely to pig out and make foolish food choices. My favorite high fiber food is flax. I have fitflax http://www.fitflax.com every morning in greek yogurt. FitFlax is a golden roasted flax and chia blend that is low carb/low cal and FILLING. I have my power breakfast, and I am full, have tons of energy and am able to make better food choices the rest of the day. Fitflax tastes nutty (kinda like peanut butter) and I sometimes just eat straight from the bag. It does not need to be ground so it is convenient.
I still have more weight to lose but I love what I am eating and am no longer the "fat" girl with the pretty curly hair.
They might as well suggest a muumuu for the slender type? They specifically say NOT to do that. No wonder you don't like anything they are suggesting, you don't understand what they're saying.
If you are a circle shape then the only large area would be your tummy so wearing slender jeans shouldn't be a problem. Did you forget that they come in different sizes? The picture shown was probably about a two or four. Of course a larger size would appear to fit better.
I'm curvy and my FAVORITE pair of jeans are high waisted. They're a really cute sailor style/retro cut. I have also altered some of my skirts to fit higher. Just because they showed an example of what they were talking about doesn't mean all pieces look like that. I promise you, most clothes look much better on anyway. The model was wearing a pair that I thought was very nice.
There's a new movie out, 500 Days of Summer, and the actress pulled off high waisted outfits very well. I wanted every outfit she wore!
Every one of these suggestions makes sense, they just require a little creativity to make the style your own.
I think the writer knew exactly what she was talking about.
I don't know what woman would wear the clothes they suggest. some of the shirts are ok with the high waist to hide the middle, but hips are usually the "biggest" problem and flare pants are going out if not out completely already. So hiding the hips, make your top half bigger? lol I don't think so.
Dark Solid colors on bottom and brighter colors on top best way to "keep your eye" off the bottom.![]()
this is a joke right?! high waisted pants on an hourglass figure?
disgusting! no woman in her right mind wants to wear "mom jeans." Any female who must wear them is more than likely none-to-thrilled about it. -and though a wrap dress could be cute on the hour glass, they certainly chose the UGLIEST one they could find to show. it looks like my grandmothers robe.![]()
skinny jeans on a woman with a circle shape?!
are they insane?!! even phrased as "slim cut" --i suppose it's better than wearing huge baggy pants that hang off your hips & expose everything, but what circle/apple shaped woman fit into that stuff?
And that shift dress?
HIDEOUS! for any figure. i doubt even the prettiest girls could pull that wretched thing off.
I was slim growing up, hour glass in my early 20s and after 3 kids--I've been hovering in the circle shape for a while. Point being, I've had experience with various sizes and a large percentage of these suggestions just seem ridiculously opposite of what has been flattering on me in various sizes. They might as well suggest daisy dukes and a tube top for "circle" shaped women. or a mu mu for the slender type.
I will say that the
right tunic or
empire waist shirts ARE in fact wonderful at camouflaging imperfections on an apple/circle figure. Pants that are form-fitted without being skin tight can in fact aid in the illusion. If "slim cut" is the same thing, the picture didn't depict that.
Either the writer of these selections needs to seriously reevaluate her line of work, or I'm completely clueless as far as fashion goes.
If the latter is true, then let me be the first to admit that I'm happy to be so- if the trends I'm supposed to be following are those suggested in this article.
