The least helpful, least informative...nee Worst article ever.  Marie Clare...I Am Embarassed For You.  Did you have one of those ridiculous interns from your train wreck of a reality tv show (redundancy intended) write/create this?  I call for a petition to get Marie Clare and MSN to formally apologize!  True, if my butt was as Half Assed as this article, I would never have clicked the link...But...have some pride!!!!

and on top of everything else they never make a pair of jeans that are for a plus size petite women like 5'3" and 200 pounds and yes i would like something that will hold my stomach in and not hurt me at the same time or squash my inners don't get me wrong i would love to lose this weight but it is hard and like they say it took all this years to put it on and it will take a few  to get it off I've already lose 22 pounds sense i came home from the hospital in july and my Dr. told me to lose more. I told him I'm trying that  I have cut down on everything i eat I got all my sugar and cholesterol under control but (he told me strait out to quit eating and i would lose weight said if you don't eat you would lose the weight)  it hurt me so much. and that's why over weight people don't lose weight because of professionals like him saying bad things to already fragile people. So it is the jeans that theree trying to put on a plus size girl that is made for a very small and petite girl same thing there saying she needs to lose weight in ther own way .

Will for one I'm 62 and i would like a pair of jeans that where actually meant to fit a women not a girl i have had a hysterectomy and three surgery's to my stomach and I'm puny in the belly and you cant find a pair of jean that will fit your legs because there skinny and your butt because it just not what it use to be and when you do they won't fit over your stomach and come up to your real waist not your hips you know the kind that lets your stomach hang over the tops of the pants and lets the crack of your butt show when you bend over it really would be nice if just one designer out there would get it right for a change and not have the things cost and arm and a leg to buy it is ridiculous what they want for a pair of jeans this days and the button on some of them hits me on my belly button and after a while of wearing them it feels like i have a stone burse around my belly button and it really hurts so so  i have to end up taking them off and going back to stretch jeans, why can't they make them to fit up to your waist I'm not saying that i didn't like hip huggers when they where in fashion but get a grip please and yes I'm 62 but i would still like to have a nice pair of jeans to wear out  once in a while  and yes i know all the well exercise and you wouldn't have a stomach stuff bull it hard to get your stomach to not bulge out when your stomach muscles have been cut so may time.

It's truly sad that MSN even put this on display.  I will never buy any product by Marie Clair.

this is hands down the worst article i have ever had the displeasure of reading!! I thought it would be something useful, like where to get a great pair of jeans for plus sized ladies like me.  Its pathetic, it  looks like a bunch lame ads,  Marie Claire you need  to get a clue on  what plus sized woman want not a few pictures of some designer jeans. what about lane bryant  jean??? Seriously  GET A CLUE MARIE CLAIRE

Colour me underwhelmed. This article is pathetic. Is Marie Claire trying to alienate fifty percent of the consumer market on purpose?. The fact that someone was paid to write this fluff bit, in this economy is insulting enough. Yet alone to show sample size jeans. Who was the genius who let this get by the editing desk? Yet more propaganda to support size discrimination in this Country. Get real, ladies, vote with your spending dollars, tell Marie Claire, and any store where you have to buy plus sizes off the website and not in the stores themselves to keep their "fashion". Thanks Calvin for giving a nod to any woman up to a size fourteen, moron.

Good lord! I love how the pictures of the example jeans were meant for sizes 3-4! Personally I prefer to actually see what the jeans REALLY look like! Why couldn't they show a SLIGHTLY bigger size?! It's like they are saying "it's -OK- (sort of) to be a "Big Girl" but not to be REMOTELY fashionable! I can't stand magazines or catalogs that have clothing meant for PLUS-SIZE women on some size 5! I can't stand the way Hollywood makes people feel like there is something HORRIBLY wrong with you if you've got curves!

Growing up I've always been curvier than my stick-thin sister and my family has (just like Hollywood does to people) went out of their way to make me feel like a freak for having my curvy body...... (Even right down to my brother telling me he hates fat people and he only dates SUPER skinny women because ANYTHING over a size 2 is just down right revolting and wrong! And my own father telling his coke-addict skeleton of a girlfriend that I was his niece and he never liked to take me anywhere because he was so ashamed of me and once told me he thought it was sad that I'd never "Be With A Man" or "Get Married" -All of course because of my curves!-Like all curvy women live all alone with 50 cats or something!) I began to REALLY believe there was something horribly wrong with me and I really was the only big girl in the whole world!

It's cruel and to me feels like a slap in the face that they put crap out here like this..... It's insulting! If you're going to do an article about clothing for Plus-Size Women - Get some actual Plus Sized Models for crying out loud! They go all out when it comes to fashion for those walking sticks they call super models but for bigger girls? (or hell even women who are a size 10 or 14!) Oh no! They can't even bother to get models or be SLIGHTLY more in-depth about things! UHG Sorry to rant and rave but it's annoying and just plain stupid!

This is absolutely worthless. The only decent thing about this article is the quote under the first pointless slide. I was actually kind of offended that one of the pairs of jeans on here is Old Navy... who can have a great plus line... but the pair they pick only runs to a 20? REALLY?

I personally love Maurices' plus line, their jeans are comfortable, with multiple lengths and don't make me look twice my age.

WTH? I have learned more from "What Not To Wear" than I did from this article. No models, no detailed information and no guidelines on what to look for, such as a darker wash or a nice straight leg. *tsk* You could do better, Marie Claire.
