The trapper hat is cute on the model, but I can only imagine how ridiculous it would look on me! The nail polish and eye shadow are really cool colors, and the bulky scarf is cute too.  I found a great deep purple eye shadow at www.mattifycosmetics.com  - it doesn't look like a dark color in the picture, but when you apply it, the color is a multi-toned burgundy with shimmery hints of dark purple and blue.  It's the shadow called Purple Haze - a great winter color and looks good as a liner too.

Can't say that I agree with their statement that EVERYONE needs to avoid foaming face cleansers during winter.  I happen to have very oily skin that does not subside just because the air is dry.   I'm going to stick to my Acne Free 24/7 foaming cleanser - it works great to dissolve facial oil, no matter what the season. For super dry areas, I dab on a bit of Nivea Creme, which is plenty of moisture for someone with already oily skin.

What are you talking about? People love trapper hats. Everyone wears them. Hey, if you don't want to look that up to date, fine, but where I live, everyone will wear them.

A trapper hat? Are you kidding? If I see anyone wearing one of these in public I will have to make fun of them. Especially if I see them here in Arizona.

The trapper hat might be fine if you live somewhere with sub-zero temperatures, but for the rest of us I don't think it will work!  I'll stick with a wool beret; those never go out of style!

But I love, Love, LOVE the burgundy eyeshadow.  If it seems like too much for your lids, try it as liner instead.  Burgundy liner is especially great on blue, turquoise, or green eyes, but it brightens any eye color!

That trapper hat looks like something Bjork would wear.

What were they smoking?

I'm not sure about some of these styles.  They may look good models but on us every day people I think we'd just look foolish.  Plus trapper hats can be expensive.  Especially after you winterize the house.  Things are particularly tight.  Luckily I have been getting some free things from www.TheGuiltFreeShop.com that has been helping me save.  It has been a huge help

Just be sure to let a few pieces of hair hang loose in front, and keep the rest of your outfit simple.

The trick is knowing where to look for these cheap airfares because they are not always listed in places that the average person can find.
