Recycling used diapers - really?! How disgusting.  Recycling actually pollutes the environment by releasing greenhouse gasses and tons of chemical toxins. Ever think of the fact that all this nasty junk we recycle has toxins and bacteria that are released into the air we breathe? And of all the processing required to remove the loads of sh** from the products so they can be recycled? With everyone on their recycling kick recently, I think people are forgetting all the toxic waste created by recycling. Alluminum recycling sends SO many pollutants into the air and water.  Drinking from alluminum cans is bad enough, but imagine all the by-products forced into our environment when those cans are recycled. It's been proven that alluminum causes Alzheimer's Disease - do you really want floods of alluminum going into our air and water?  Not that there are many other solutions to getting rid of all the waste we create; the planet will eventually be doomed by our waste no matter what we try to do about it...but still - it is very disturbing to know that recycling for a cleaner planet is actually polluting our air with huge amounts of toxins.

Locks of Love doesn't use all of the hair that is donated.  And most of the wigs they do make do not go to cancer kids but to kids with other more permanent hair loss conditions.  Just so you know.  Note that the author of this article was smart not to specify cancer kids.  However in general the average people is unaware of this fact.

Also there is a another way to use your hair that anyone can contribute to!!  You can send your chopped locks of ANY length to matteroftrust and they will use the clippings to help clean up oil spills.

Finally please remember it is rude to tell people with long hair that they can donate it.  Believe me, THEY ALREADY KNOW!  :)

diapers are a little disturbing.Open-mouthed  but it is cool that today we can recycle almost anything.  I do like the mention of the plastic bags as well.  Also, I have noticed that stores will let you use paper bags.  I always forget my cloth ones, but will try to get paper bags, then I will use those to put my paper recycle in.  We have a paper recycle drop off a half a block from my house, so it is a good way to re-use them.

I try to push recycling on everyone I know.  It is such a huge help to the enviroment.  I want my childrens children to have a clean world to live in.   Plus if you are recycling things at home then you can save money.  Hard to beat that.  It is one of the best ways I know to save.  The other great way is free things from www.TheGuiltFreeShop.com

Dont forget you can recycle plastic shopping bags too.

Most grocery stores let you bring them back to the store for recycling.  Dont understand why they dont say  "would you like plastic or paper, please bring your bags back for recycling"

Here is the link to the plastic bag recycling map on google maps

Immediately after you accidentally hit the delete button and unintentionally delete an important file or program, you look for the file in the recycle bin. On most occasions, you will find the deleted files in the recycle bin. However, if you lose your recycle bin and all the crucial data, it becomes extremely pivotal for you to recover recycle bin without much ado.
