Inspirational Room of the Week
A light and airy place to dine.
What a wonderful place to dine! This light and airy dining room has an elegant, contemporary feel with tons of personality. It has a delightful mix of modern touches, with the wire-based glass table and sleek chandelier, balanced out by classic chinoiserie chairs and luxurious silk curtains in bright poppy colors. To top it off, I'm loving the gorgeous mound of dahlias in the large turquoise vase on the table. Simple and perfect. The real show-stopper, however, is the black and white oversized chevron rug. I love it when patterns are echoed in a room's décor, which is exemplified so well in this room with the geometric design in the rug and the fabulous backs of the dining room chairs.
This room is beautiful day or night ... I can just imagine throwing an intimate dinner party with friends, circled around the perfect table warmed by the light of the spectacular chandelier above. Bon appétit!
