Inspirational Room of the Week
A fashionable dressing room.

Besides my bedroom, my dressing room is my favorite room in the house. That's why I'm head-over-heels for this darling dressing room. It's cheeky, very girlie and so fashionable, which is what a dressing room really should be about! I love the bright pink walls, highlighted by the black ceiling and the white crown molding. The comfortable chair and ottoman upholstered in black and white hounds tooth is a nice focal point, not to mention a great place to lounge as you contemplate your next outfit. And the chandeliers? Gorgeous. I actually have five of these black chandeliers in my office in Seattle and just love them and the glamour they bring. I particularly like how they've used chandelier wall decals to continue the chandelier motif right onto the walls. And the organization? I love how the shoes are displayed on shelves on either side of the large gold mirror (a must-have for any dressing room) ... what a creative idea! Your shoes really become a piece of art in the room!
