I found someone complaining about dark green and black also. I can imagine how tough Red can be when you need to get it off!

I converted my 86 Gold Wing into a trike.  Went to automotive supply house and they had a "Gun" which gave them the information they needed to mix paint.  Only need enough for the fenders .  Don't be surprised at the cost of the paint. Unreal.

I've tried to do some searches and I've come up with nothing

Anyways, I'm seriously thinking about repainting just my fairings on my bike and the color is a black/blue color. Looks Black but under the sun you see the blue. It's a stock kawasaki color. I've tried searching for the paint code on my bike and I can't find it.

Anybody know if paint shops can match paint even without the paint code? Paint shop recommendations that can do this?
I know it won't be 100% matched but closer is better then rashes!

No help at all. Pick your color for a starting point. Also buy some white and some extra empty quart cans. You can make a lot of shades of the color you picked. Save a little of each. A formula can be made of the color you like.

They didn't say they were going to help you pick the perfect color, they said "which paint color is hardest to get right?" then let some designers answer it. By the way, almost every answer included a suggestion of a shade of each color that's good, so they are helping. I enjoyed reading the articulate opinions.

Totally misleading article.  You certainly didn't tell me how to pick the perfect color.  You did however give the reader nothing but pessimism in trying to determine the right one.  No point to the story at all.
