MSN Lifestyle: Our New Look
MSN Lifestyle has always been about you—the clothes you wear, the home you create, and your circle of friends and family. As a commitment to you, we listen to your feedback daily—we are always looking for ways to streamline and improve your channel and the content in it. We’re excited to show off this new, latest design of MSN Lifestyle: We’ve redesigned the site to make it easier than ever for you to navigate, and to find the information and resources you need to make more informed decisions about your home and life.
New Features & Design
New Features & Design
- All Together Now… Before, our content was divided up into multiple Lifestyle sites for men, women and boomers. We’ve heard from so many of you that you’d like to have a more direct view into the whole range of Lifestyle content: So the first change we’ve made is to unify our content into one cohesive website. We’ll continue to feature the same great articles, pictures and information you’ve enjoyed in the past, just without all the work of going from one site to another.
- Better topic focus. 3 category departments to make it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for:
- Your Look: The latest beauty and grooming tips, including personalized hair, nail and skin care, for men and women.
- Your Home: Ideas on color, design and improvements for homes and gardens that help you reflect your own personal creativity.
- Your Life: Your own personal life coach. Tools, tips and advice for realizing your potential and leading a more successful life.
- New Sub-departments. Each section above has a list of sub-categories to make navigating through your topics of interest easy. Some examples:
- The Well-Groomed Male: A one-stop shop for men who want to look good and feel confident in the clothes they wear.
- All NEW Hairstyle Gallery: This new tool helps you find the perfect hairstyle for your hair type and ethnicity.
- Living Green: Eco-friendly solutions for doing your part in the world we live.
o Seasonal Crafts: A new section on scrapbooking, kids crafts, holiday projects and seasonal inspirations. - The Bigger Picture: Current events, world issues and topics that impact your family and life.
- Fresh New Look. MSN Lifestyle now has an updated look that includes a wider page layout and increased emphasis on video, photo galleries and community tools. The new design also elevates all the excellent brands that you’ve been accustomed to seeing: Marie Claire, Esquire, Instyle.com, Oprah.com, Style.com, Lucky, MORE Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Better Homes & Garden, TheKnot.com, Glamour, Redbook and Popular Mechanics to name a few, and also showcases more photo galleries and video than ever before!
- Enhanced Search Functionality: Look for improvements in our site search experience, with increased relevance, “sort by” functionality and new Windows Live product and image search.
It’s your Lifestyle, we’ve just giving you the tools to live it.
